How do I apply a credit to my invoice?
A. You can call and request a credit to be applied to your account
B. You can have your account set up to automatically apply credits to outstanding invoices
C. If neither of the above two occurs, credits will be automatically applied to any open balance after 60 days
How do I find my customer number?
Your customer number can be used to login to your account from the top of the website.  You can find your customer number 1 of 3 ways.

How do I return damaged books?
Notify Kalmbach within 30 days of receipt and request credit or replacement of your merchandise.  Click here to visit our online contact page.
How long should I display the magazines?

We suggest that you display two issues of a given magazine, the current issue and one back issue. This way your customers can pick up the back issue they missed last month.

How often are new books released?

We release new books throughout the year. However, due to the seasonality of the hobby industry, a majority of our new hobby books are released in September through March. New catalogs are available in the spring and fall of the year.

How often is credit issued for returned magazines?

Credits are issued weekly on Fridays for magazine returns.

I purchased products through a distributor. Can I return them directly to Kalmbach?

Products purchased from a distributor must be returned to the distributor from which the purchase was made according to that distributor's terms and policies.

What is your return policy?
A. Magazines, Annuals and Special Issues can be returned up to six months (from invoice date).

B. Books are returnable up to one year from invoice date.

C. Calendars (purchased with return privileges) are returnable up to March 1st of the calendar year.
When are magazine invoices issued?

Magazine invoices are generated monthly between the 22nd and 27th of each month.

When do I call the Credit department as opposed to the Trade Sales department?

When will the next new product catalog come out?

Hobby and Beading/Craft catalogs are typically available in January with a supplement to follow in July.
